Freddie Freeman tied George Springer's record in Game 3 of the 2024 World Series by hitting a home run for the fifth straight World Series game. 

His two-run home run against Yankees pitcher Clarke Schmidt in the first inning gave the Dodgers an early lead and helped them win 4-2 and take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

 Freeman's run also puts him in the same league as Hank Bauer and Barry Bonds for hitting a home run in the first three games of a World Series.
