The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans recently paid tribute to the late Eric Paulsen, a well-known local broadcaster. 

During his decades-long tenure with WWL-TV, Paulsen was a well-liked member of the New Orleans community who was praised for both his commitment to the area and his broadcasting prowess. 

He previously received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the New Orleans Press Club in recognition of his lasting influence on local journalism and his dedication to telling important stories to audiences.

 His contributions made a significant impact on both teams and the neighborhood at large.
