Phil Lesh American musician
On October 11, 2023, Rudolph Isley, a founding member of the well-known soul and R&B group The Isley Brothers, died at the age of 84. Rudolph, well-known for classic singles like "It's Your Thing" and "Twist and Shout," helped create the group's potent vocal harmonies and lasting musical legacy. A respected presence in the Isley Brothers' significant rock and soul music legacy, he quit the band in 1989 to pursue a career as a Christian evangelist. One of the most recognisable bands in music history, the Grateful Dead, was founded by Phil Lesh, a significant bassist. Lesh, who is well-known for his improvisational technique, contributed to the band's distinctive sound by fusing jazz, folk, and rock. He approached the bass differently than most bassists.
