Erika Diarte-Carr, a 33-year-old mother of two from Utah, is facing a heartbreaking situation as she plans her own funeral following a terminal cancer diagnosis.

 Initially seeking treatment for a shoulder injury, she discovered she had Stage 4 small cell lung carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer, which has left her with an estimated three months to live.


To help with funeral costs, Erika has launched a GoFundMe campaign that has raised over $750,000, significantly exceeding her original goal of $5,000.

 She has expressed her main concern for her children, stating, "I need to make sure my kids will be okay". 

Despite the devastating news, Erika is determined to make the most of her remaining time with her family.
