 Verizon is currently experiencing a widespread service outage across the U.S., affecting thousands of customers. Users have reported issues with cellular connectivity, including phone calls, text messaging, and mobile data. Many are seeing "SOS only" mode on their devices, which indicates no connection to the network, though emergency calls are still possible.


The outages began around 10 a.m. ET on September 30, 2024, and reports have been concentrated in states such as Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Maryland. Verizon has yet to release an official statement regarding the outage but is addressing individual customer issues through its support page on social media platforms.
