Joe Flacco
Joe Flacco is an American professional football quarterback, most known for his time with the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. Born on January 16, 1985, Flacco rose to prominence when he was drafted by the Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as a franchise quarterback, leading the team to several playoff appearances. Flacco's most notable achievement came in the 2012 season when he led the Ravens to a Super Bowl XLVII victory and was named Super Bowl MVP after a stellar postseason performance.
Known for his strong arm and poise in big games, Flacco has had a long career in the NFL, playing for other teams like the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles after his departure from the Ravens in 2018. Despite being considered a solid starting quarterback, Flacco's performance after his Super Bowl run became inconsistent, leading to various stints as a backup in later years.
As of the 2023 season, Flacco is often viewed as a veteran presence with a wealth of experience, though his starting opportunities have been limited in recent seasons.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered a hip injury during their Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the injury is not considered serious. After initially trying to return to the game, Richardson had difficulty accelerating and pushing off, prompting him to sit out the remainder of the contest.
He described the injury as leaving him "a little sore" but expressed confidence that he will be fine moving forward. This is positive news for Colts fans, as Richardson has been showing promise as a young, dynamic quarterback this season.
On the other hand, the Minnesota Vikings remain the only undefeated team in the NFL after Week 4. Their impressive start to the season continues as they push forward with high expectations.
